Review: |
| For many years, Sean Michaels has been one of the top male performers in the jizz bizz. His ability to elicit strong reactions and emotions from his female partners is legendary. Some of my all-time favorite scenes are Sean with Taylor Moore in Up & Cummers 41 and Sean with Anna Malle in Macin' 2. Not only is he a great performer, he's a class act and a gentleman. That being said, let's see how he does as a director and producer. As you can tell, I had high hopes for this video, hopes that were dashed by the reality of the product. The camera work was amateurish. It was shaky, often out of focus and focused too much on extreme close-ups along with nuts and butts shots(the refuge of the unimaginative cameraman). The sound levels were so poor that it was almost impossible to hear any of the dialogue. The music, if it can be called that, was nothing more than a rhythm machine track and it got boring real quick. The editing seemed to make a conscious effort to hide the girls' faces and responses to Sean's efforts. The best scene was the opener with Latia Lopez, even the poor camera work and editing couldn't kill the intense heat of her performance. The second scene is a veggie act with Miko Lee and Catalina. Catalina tries to act sexy, while Miko is sexy. At least Catalina didn't turn in her usual spaced out disinterested performance, but I would much rather have Miko perform with Sean. At least it was a short scene. Sean's tryst with Diamond seemed to drag on forever. The last scene was the biggest disappointment. It was one of those that jumps back and forth between two couples and even if you like one of the pairs or both, the scene loses its continuity and momentum with the switchbacks. In this case, even with the poor audio levels, all you could hear was Kelly Fire screaming no matter which couple the camera was on. It would have been better if they had shown each scene separately, or left Kelly and Steve out all together. Even with Sean being a major star in the business, the female cast and technical work has to be better than this to produce a marketable product. Miko and Sean with a good cameraperson would have gone a long way to improving this one. PT says 2, as in too many problems. |
