Review:

OT(Lexington Steele) and Dr. Go(Mike Horner) are undercover cops infiltrating the prostitution ring at the Hotel O, but they're the ones running the whores. Dr. Go decides to take over the operation and sets out to cause rifts in the organization. OT gets wise to the problem and has Dr. Go whacked. Of course during all this there's a lot of whoring and fucking going on and the desk clerk, Willie, wears a funny hat and scribbles with a quill pen.

This is one of the weakest features I've seen in quite some time, and considering the state of adult features that's pretty amazing. Professor Richard Burt's script is terrible and Roy Karch's directing doesn't help it. The production is cheap, the costumes are silly and the dialogue is atrocious. It's easy to tell the cast wasn't into this project because the acting is horrendous.

The sex performances may have been good, but it's hard to tell because of the camera work. Karch's overuse of genital close-ups removes all the personalities and heat from the scenes. Even when he wasn't obsessing on nuts and butts, the framing is poor and it looks like the camera is about two feet from the action. I once said that Shakespeare translates well to porn, and it does, but not when it's mangled like this. There was little thought or effort put into this production and it shows. There's no point to the plot and less believability.

Outside of Lexington Steele, there aren't any big name stars here. Ok, I know, it has Nina Hartley, but at this point in her long career all I think of when I see her on a box cover is that she's held up better than Ron Jeremy.

DVD extras include phone sex ads, a gallery with 20 pics, stat sheets for the girls, a plug for Afro-Centric.com, a commercial for California Dreams Lingerie, trailers for four Afro-Centric DVDs, behind the scenes of the box cover shoot and twenty-four minutes of behind the scenes of making the movie. I enjoyed the behind the scenes footage way more than the movie.

Do yourself a favor and spend your money on a good meal.

PT says 2, another weak film in a weak genre.
