Review:
Red Light District has set up an assembly line for product that seems to work just fine. No plots, no variation, all the directors are interchangeable, it's formula porn and the only thing that changes is the theme of the flick. The box covers even look the same so you can easily spot them at your favorite XXX store. The girls are usually young and pretty, but there's rarely a big name performer (they're mostly, fairly new to the business). There's going to be plenty of interracial action and no music. Lots of close-ups, bright lighting and basic editing are a mainstay. If it's an action theme movie, the scenes are all going to be choreographed and dialogued alike. The camera is going to be an added performer in the scenes, with the girl focusing on the lens and playing to it. The production is simple, with most of the action on a couch.

This type of heavily directed and staged porn has it's pros and cons. If you like one of their movies, it's a good bet that you'll like all of them. It gets tighter as they go along because they do the same thing over and over. It's relatively inexpensive to make. On the other hand, there are no surprises or allowances for individuality. The heat factor is low and the urge to hit the fast forward increases. To be sure, there are times when the girl ignores the camera and really gets into the sex, but they are few and far between.

I find it disappointing and a clinical way to make porn, but that's just me. I expected more innovation from Dion Giarrusso and his crew. Like I said, if you liked this one, you'll likeall of Red Light District's stuff. It's just not my cup of tea.
