Review: |
| The sex in Gutter Mouths 24 , as a whole, is unremarkable. All of the scenes but one have DPs. The real point of interest in the movie is the theme: girls talking dirty during sex and I like girls that talk dirty during sex. While there's no real plot (in fact, it almost feels like a compilation), this movie is full of girls spewing out nasty dialogue. But is it natural? Spontaneous? Erotic? The answer for this film: sometimes. Angel delivers some Ok dialogue, but there's actually too much and it's marred by sound problems. Keegan spends some time masturbating and talking dirty to the camera (not my cup of tea) before the stud arrives. Monica really doesn't fit into this movie at all because of her difficulty with the English language. Daniella's scene is outdoors. She's spread on a large inflatable ball while the guys go to work on her. This doesn't seem to jive with the theme of the movie either. The real key to this dirty talk business for me is not simply using obscenity, but spewing out natural filthy dialogue that matches with the mood and action of the scene. I want to believe that the girl is feeling what she's saying. Then the guys have to act in response to what the girls are saying. This has to be difficult to pull off, I admit, but it's a problem for the filmmakers to handle, not the viewers. As a whole, Guttermouths 24 is lacking in this department. Technically speaking, there were some sound level variations that will keep you adjusting the volume from time to time. The sets are commonplace and the editing is slightly jerky. Bugsy gives it a 2. Monica Sweetheart is better cast elsewhere. |
