Review:
This is the story of Darlene(Julia Ann). How she went from being a prude in college, to a feature dancer, to working in a massage parlor, to being a porn star and owning a massage parlor and finally a producer and director of porn. It's all about her wanting control of her own life instead of being controlled by others.

No one wanted to take credit for writing this script and I can't really blame them. It's a lame and boring story that never goes anywhere. Darlene says that she wants control, but it's not like her life was out of her hands. What she wants is more control of her business life and the money that comes with it. The climax is that she's finished the last movie on her contract and now she can do her own films. It's all about control of the money.

Bud Lee, not one of my favorite directors, does a decent job. Because it's a cable/hardcore movie there are a number of softcore shots, like showing just the top half of Julia's head while she's giving Steven a blow job, and the primary focus is on the genitalia. The music is better than I would have expected, but the narrative audio sounded hollow. The sets were nice and the costumes believable. The dialogue was very poor and didn't add much to the story.

The girls are very hot, with Julia Ann turning in three scorching scenes and some very fine acting. It's a shame she didn't have stronger partners to push her more or a director that could truly capture the heat of her performances. Sondra Hall is fast becoming a girl I look for in a movie, unfortunately her scene includes Evan "Fabio" Stone and I had to fight the urge to fast forward through it. Shay's got the body and sex appeal, but her delivery of dialogue is real weak. I thought Julia's performance with Billy Glide was the hottest scene in the flick and she never took her clothes off.

The sex is above average for a feature but the story rambles and never really gels. If you're a fan of one of the girls, and it's hard not to be, you'll want to take a look at this. Obviously, the main attraction is Julia Ann and she delivers. I'm so glad to see her back. She's one of the sexiest women to ever grace a porn set.
