Review:

Loosely based on a current soap opera, Sunset Cliffs stays true to the format. Let's list the characters first. Alex Dane is Jennifer, the rich daughter of a plastic surgeon married to a sleazy lawyer. Alec Metro is the sleazy lawyer, Corey. Michael J. Cox is Robert, a divorce lawyer and Corey's law partner. Alana is Corey's secretary. Rod Fontana is Jennifer's father. Valerie Waters, Jennifer's best friend is played by Lauren Montgomery. Jack Boxler (Randy Spears) is the private detective used by Robert for his divorce cases. Tina Tyler is the ultra-vane Veronica Parker; she's having Jennifer's father rework her face and body. OK, here we go. Corey is cheating with his secretary. Jennifer hires Robert to divorce Corey and then seduces him. Boxler has completed one job for Robert and is now following Corey. Valerie warns Jennifer that Corey is philandering, then is waiting for him when he gets home. Valerie tells Corey that she wants to discuss her father's estate and they agree to meet the next day. Boxler sees Valerie leaving Corey's house. Corey tells Jennifer that he is playing golf the next day, but meets with Valerie and takes her out on his boat. Valerie seduces Corey, or vice versa. Somehow, Boxler gets pictures of Valerie and Corey on the boat and gives them to Jennifer. Jennifer confronts Corey, and Boxler goes out to celebrate.

This a fun movie with good sex, good camerawork and decent dialogue. The sex scenes seemed to be put in because they had to be and the storyline dominated the movie. The music had the feel of a soap opera. The direction and production were good, but the editing was off and caused the sex scenes to be a little choppy. While the sex was good, it just didn't have the spark it needed to make this an outstanding video. My favorite scenes in this flick were the girl/girl with McKayla and Charlie and the final scene with McKayla, Obsession and Randy Spears.

I liked the movie, but I don't think it qualifies as serious stroke material…maybe a warm-up flick.

PT says 3, and how does Alana Evans get top billing and the box cover?
