Review: |
| Here we have Jonathan and Asia as a married
writing team that are having trouble working together because Jonathan can't keep it in
his pants. Their publisher, Joey Silvera, suggests that they see his psychologist, Kylie
Ireland. They go to see her and it turns into a sex therapy session with Kylie joining in
to give some pointers. After the session, Asia decides that she needs to screw someone in
order to get even with hubby and convinces Joey to help her out because she won't be able
to work until she gets this out of her system. They do the nasty and get caught by
Jonathan and Joey's girlfriend, Anna Malle. Jonathan and Anna are obliged to have at each
other to get back at Joey. OK, now everybody has been to bed with everybody and the happy
couple are back together and the writing is progressing nicely. Weak directing and editing only serve to point out the shortcomings in the storyline and dialogue. While the other actors are trying to make a serious and erotic movie, Jonathan Morgan is trying to make a comedy. Morgan's acting has always been suspect but he is unusually bad in this flick. It doesn't look like Bud Lee really had control of this project. The camera work is poor and the sex scenes are too broken up to keep the audience involved and interested. The picture is grainy, but this could have been from the duplicating. The best scenes in the video are the ones featuring Anna Malle, especially the first scene with Joey Silvera. Asia Carrera is hot as usual, but her first scene was too cut up with Kylie and Rayveness's girl/girl grope and her second was too short. Why do film makers go back and forth between two different sex scenes? All it does is detract from both. Crazy Love has a cast that should have anyone on the edge of their seat with their pants around their ankles, but unfortunately it doesn't deliver and I was left feeling cheated. Another Vivid film that is only good as an appetizer until someone else brings the main course. PT says 2, barely, but a 2 nonetheless. You could rent it, but I wouldn't reccommend buying it. © 1999 Smuttco, Inc. |
