Review: |
| This is the first edition of this series that I've seen, so I don't know what to expect from it. Looking at the cast, I have high hopes for some serious stroke value. Mika Tan always gets my attention and Ryaan Reynolds and Mya Luanna are high on my radar, too. Much to my disappointment, the final product didn't live up to my expectations. In spite of the good looking Asian honies and top flight studs, DeMontfort's extreme close-ups, off-beat camera angles and choppy editing detracted from the scenes and to be very honest, bored me. It didn't look like he knew how he wanted to start the scenes, then he'd switch from holding one shot too long to quick changes of camera angles. The scenes just didn't flow, looking more like different positions edited together at random. Having the girls talk to the camera killed a lot of the heat for me. Even so, there is still some good stroke material in here. Ryaan Reynolds, Mika Tan and Avena Lee were the high points. DVD extras include: Chapter and sub-chapter starts (included twice in the special features for some reason) Sixteen minutes of very good BTS footage, even though they mis-spelled Avena's and Sanaei's names in the intros A slide show with 33 pictures Trailers for six Hustler films Phone sex ads Web site info A Hustler Hollywood commercial I have to say that this has some of the quietest sex that I've seen since 16mm films. I kept checking to see if I had the mute turned on. I had a very hard time staying away from the fast forward button. This wasn't the best flick I've seen, but it sure wasn't the worse. It was worth looking at once, but I don't think it will make its way back into my DVD player again. PT says 3, for Mika, Avena and Ryaan. |
