Review: |
| Any movie that has Brittney Skye in the title is one that I'm gonna have to see. She's one of the few girls out there that I would actually call a porn star. Her combined innocence and wantonness are a potent combination and she literally explodes from the screen in every scene I've seen. Her genuine love of sex and performing is readily obvious. In case you couldn't tell, I'm a big Brittney fan. As far as I'm concerned, she's the frontrunner for every award given in all the porn award shows. Michael Ninn is, without a doubt, one of the best movie makers in the adult business. While others are trying to compare themselves to mainstream movies by making cheap imitations and spoofs, he actually makes films that are technically and visually as appealing as anything coming out of Hollywood. Not only is his camera work, editing and production flawless, the scenes are smoking. The tunes are great and along with the tight video editing have the feel of an erotic music video. His use of lighting adds so much to the scenes and is such a nice relief from the usual harsh lighting of standard gonzo. DVD extras include: Chapter starts A slide show with over a hundred pictures Twenty-four minutes of BTS footage Brittney in a bonus masturbation scene There were a few things I didn't like. The monologue during the last scene droned on and on and I couldn't follow what the guy was saying. There was a little audio looping. I didn't think I was going to like the interview portions with Audrey Hollander, but every time I tried to fast-forward through it I had to go back to see what Brittney would say next. In fact, every time I fast-forwarded, I had to go back to see what I missed. I thought the intros to some of the scenes might have been too long, but I enjoyed watching them. After watching so much gonzo and half-baked, rip-off features, it was such a treat to see that someone in adult really knows something about film making. Every feature that is put out by the so-called big production companies is referred to as a "couples' film". I don't know what constitutes them being a "couples' film" unless it's because they're too sophomoric to be enjoyed by the hardcore raincoat crowd. I don't know of any couples that go looking for porn to watch and say "let's get something that is a spoof on a mainstream movie with terrible writing and acting, and lukewarm sex". This is the type of movie that I'd recommend to couples, singles, hardcore freaks or anyone else. A good movie is a good movie. Hot sex is hot sex. A flick that is both is a rarity...this is one. PT says 5, the things I'd like to do to Brittney could get me put in jail, but I'd be happy!!! |
