| Scene 5 - other=orgy and cum swap Another porn spoof of a mainstream blockbuster...something I was hoping to never see again. The best thing about these rip-offs is that they seldom disappoint because expectations are so low. You can expect bad acting, bad production, cheesy effects, horrific dialogue, irritating music, a wafer thin plot and weak sex. Let's see how this effort stands up. Babes in Black is just as bad as any porn spoof you've seen. In addition to all the shortcomings I was expecting, it also lacked a female lead that would entice anyone to watch it. Face it, Veronica Stone and Syren aren't the hottest girls on the block. Veronica's complexion can't stand close-ups and Syren is a mediocre sexual performer at best. And did I mention that neither one can act? Jasmine Byrne was the one bright spot in the entire movie, and her scene's impact was diminished by Veronica's intrusion into it. DVD extras consist of forty-one minutes of BTS footage and three slide shows with a total of one-hundred and twenty-four pictures. For this, Red Light decided you needed an additional disk. It's obvious that much more thought and care went into the packaging and marketing of this film than the actual production. If this was my first look at a Red Light Films production, I wouldn't be lining up to see the next one. It's not funny, it's not dramatic, it's not erotic and it's not worth seeing twice. PT says 2, somebody may want to look for another line of work. |
