Review:

Scenes 6 and 7 - other=bonus scene

Ok, a four girl contracting crew has two weeks to finish the house they're building. How in the world can they do it and get the required amount of fucking into such a tight schedule?

If this is supposed to be a serious movie, it doesn't come close. If it's supposed to be a comedy, it missed the mark. If it's supposed to be erotic, it failed miserably. From the cheesy slo-mo shots to the lame music, this flick is a yawner. Bad directing, poor production, terrible writing and weak dialogue made worse by bad acting...it's perfect for a Cinemax or HBO adult movie. Unfortunately, it won't do anything to help you relieve the tension at the end of the day. If you get wood from this one, you'e taking too much Viagra. Yes, the girls do look good in the short shorts and half shirts, but that's about it. On top of all this, the sounds levels were awful.

I guess A&E thought they could make up the shortcomings with a second disk full of extras. In addition to the chapter starts and a trailer for The Contractor on the first disk...hold it, I have the DVD, why do I need a trailer for it? Anyway, the second disk has trailers for fifteen A&E movies, a slide show with over seventy pictures, an ad for the Free Speech Coalition (you'd think that with all the production companies that support the FSC they could put together a decent ad), two bonus scenes, a segment with Carmen talking about herself, BTS footage from University of Austyn, seven minutes of bloopers (more like Evan Stone acting a fool) and fifteen minutes of BTS footage from this movie.

When a movie is 106 minutes long and over two thirds of it is sex, it's hard to get a plot working with what's left, unless it's about sex. This is the overwhelming problem with feature sex films, there just isn't enough time to make the sex and plot mix well and everything looks out of place. I would never admit to anyone that I actually watched this movie if I didn't have to, but I feel that way about most of the porn features that are made. If you rated this on a comparison basis it's average. If you rated it on an entertainment basis, it's poor. If you rated it based on sexual heat, it's lukewarm at best, unless you're an avid fan of one of the girls. Personally, I think they should have forgone all the extras and worked some more on the actual story. It's another case of a porn director thinking he can make movies like they do in the mainstream. Can't and shouldn't be done. It's an entirely different entertainment genre and they should stop trying to copy what's being done in Hollywood. Until adult production companies are ready to take initiative and be independently creative, they should stop trying to make something they can't. It's only my opinion.

PT says 3, on a comparison basis.
