Review:

For years now, Jules Jordan has been turning out porn, sometimes with a high budget, sometimes with a not so big budget. The one constant has been the quality of his product. Jules has the ability to shoot scenes that you want to watch again and again. Few directors have the skill to create these extraordinary scenes on a constant basis; Tom Byron, John Leslie, Patrick Collins and Michael Stefano come to mind and Jordan has to be listed with these true porn directors.

For interracial fans, this movie is a must see. With an outstanding cast, great direction and editing, a fine variety of scenes, first rate production and superb lighting, Once You Go Black 4 `is way ahead of the rest of the black/white gonzo flicks. Oh, and did I mention that with the 2 disk set, it's over three hours long?

One of the things that impresses me about Jordan's films, is his nice use of close-up and full scene shots. There are more than enough close-ups to satisfy the near sighted, but the focus is on the girls' reactions to the action. The interface with the camera is more like what gonzo should be, too. They don't play to the camera with practiced dialogue like some directors use, but respond to it more like it's an actual person. Another big plus is that the guys aren't made to look like gangstas or pimps, there's none of the hip-hop rap that so many interracial film makers like to use.

The DVD extras include chapter and sub chapter starts, a fetish menu that breaks the scenes' action down according to tease, blowjobs, anal and cum shots, a thirty-five minute montage of footage from all the scenes except Delilah Strong's, a slide show with sixty-one pix, a cast ID by scene, Evil Angel film credits for the girls, trailers for six of Jordan's flicks, web site info and Jules' bio.

Jordan's films are so much fun to watch. His scene creativity, casting, use of lighting and smooth camera work are so refreshing. What is more important, though, is that he doesn't get in the way of the performers and allows the heat to come through to the viewer. Brittney Skye and Mandingo's scene is scorching, and Monica Mayhem, Mr. Marcus hold nothing back in their tryst. Lauren Kain is a relative new comer, but her romp with Mandingo is awesome...all the girls turned in great scenes. This is a movie that won't get forgotten and relegated to the back of the porn stash, you'll be looking for this one over and over.
