Review:

Objects of Desire is a well told story about the inner-struggles of a young and successful photographer, Samantha(Inari Vachs), who has difficulty figuring out what she wants in life. Don’t we all? Her new photo shoot is creating some chaos in her life as she battles her wanton desires of her photo subjects against a "normal" lifestyle. Samantha is unable to achieve some type of sexual utopia with her boyfriend(Lee Stone) because she constantly fantasizes about her bi-sexual needs with the people she photographs. Will Samantha be able to give up her "objects of desire" to live a normal, mundane life with her dull boyfriend?

Thankfully, Vachs’ character doesn’t answer that question until the end, so that we are able to watch some scrumptious sex. The flick begins quickly with Kerkove and Steele on a regular porn set, and although I’m usually not a fan of Kerkove’s, she was able to provide an important kick-start to the festivities. After the completion of that scene, we cut and watch Vachs masturbate in the bedroom with her boyfriend in the room. It’s obvious from the beginning that she would much rather fantasize her models and flick her bean than have Stone do it for her. That’s a major problem only her psychologist (Lawrence) can help her solve both mentally and physically. Inari’s sucking technique is beyond awesome! I don’t know how Lawrence could keep from releasing his man juices on the spot. Of course, Inari faces stiff competition from her boss (and friend) Tina Tyler in the art of blowing category. Tina once again displays why older and more experienced women are needed in the biz. She exudes so much sexual energy in almost every scene I’ve ever watched her in, and she doesn’t fail in her tussle with Stone.

Other performance nods go to Brooklyn Rhodes and Mia Smiles for their one-on-one scenes. Rhodes may be "factory made", as Mia’s character says, but she appears to enjoy her work even if her acting isn’t top-notch. And don’t forget to check out the smokin’ Nikki Fairchild! You’ll lose your load just seeing her in a fishnet outfit! Wow!

I must admit that features are not my favorite categories in the porn genre, but this movie illustrates why features are still important in porn. It’s still possible to tell a good story with boner-popping sex thrown in the mix. Emerson’s direction is not without its flaws (there were a couple of points of film looping), but the overall product is admirable. Viewers should have no problem with the quality production value, which is not surprising since VCA usually is exemplar in that area. Emerson gives you good tit-shots of all of the girls along with fabulous penetration close-ups. The music, even though it’s porn-like, blends in nicely with the feel of the movie.

Of course, behind every good male is a cast of unbelievably hot ladies who pour out great sexual performances. The acting, for porn standards, is also great. Vachs, Tyler, Smiles and Lawrence stand out from the others in their acting to help make this psychological story more believable.

Couples will find no problem enjoying this movie, and porn fans will equally find it appealing because the sex stays nasty enough to satisfy their appetites as well. Nice surprise ending to this one.

Trapper easily gives this one a 4 for a solid story and hot sex. This is how a feature should be done!

Review:
