| Here's VCA, they just made the movie The Sopornos and have this strip club set. Somebody decides that they can do another movie with the same set, but with a much smaller cast and budget. So they throw together five ideas; a dancer seduces a customer on the stage, the janitor gets seduced by a dancer in the john, the bartender gets seduced by a dancer in the club after hours, a dancer visits her boyfriend in jail and boffs him and the janitor pretends to be the manager and "interviews" a new girl. They can even use the same cast, since they're already there. Unfortunately, there's not enough thought or effort put into this secondary production. It's weak, very weak. Directing is almost non-existent and the camera work is very poor, a hodge-podge of softcore and close-up shots, no transitions and no feeling. Some of the shots are even out of focus. The editing is atrocious, including audio dubbing. The music should have been left out altogether and the dialogue is forced. The redeeming factors are Kendra Jade and Dru Berrymore, I like both of these girls and even with the poorly produced scenes, they are still fun to watch. Dru looks so sweet and innocent and Jade looks like she can be as nasty as you want her to be. This was a poor effort that should never have been made. There's got to be more involved than just putting product on the shelves, some thought and planning and desire has to go into it. PT says 2, but not by much!! |
