Review: |
| This is a tough film to review, because the girls have to do a short monologue at the start of each scene to convince you how nasty they are. The problem is that this type of an intro into a scene too often comes off as contrived and forced. That's the case here and for me it's a big turn off. I think it would have been better to just go straight to the sex and forget the acting raunchy part. The camera concentrated too much on close-ups for my taste, but this seems to be a must for JM Productions and Jim Powers so if your into that you'll be very happy. One thing that really irked me was the use of the upside down camera shot. I thought I was freed from watching that trick when I stopped getting screeners from Zane. It should be a felony to ever use a rotating camera or upside down shot in a porn flick. The editing was average, there's almost no variety in the scenes, no music, which could be a good thing and, with the exception of Shay, the girls seem more interested in playing to the camera than the guys they're with. The girls are great looking. Jodie is one hot babe, but I found her incessant babbling annoying. Sienna is very sexy but, like Jodie, she never loses sight of where the camera is. Brandy Starz didn't have near the strength of personality the rest of the girls had. Shay Sights turned in the best performance, talking to the guys instead of the camera and letting out all the stops. DVD extras include chapter starts, over six minutes of BTS footage, stat sheets for all the girls, a slide show with twenty pics, previews for twelve JM movies and ordering info. Hot girls, anonymous guys, staged dialogue, repetitive scenes, suspect camera work, I don't know. This type of video isn't my favorite, though I did like Shay's scene, and for what it is Powers does it pretty well. If you like close-ups and scripted dialogue, you'll like this, but I'm the reviewer here and I felt too big an urge to use the fast forward through most of it. PT says 3, 5 if you just watch Shay. |
