Review:
This is a nine year-old video, but I felt it needed to be included in our reviews. The reasons being, Shelby Stevens, Vanessa Chase, Melissa Hill and Kirsty Waay. These are four girls who added immensely to the adult video industry, caught in one movie when they were just starting out. Together, these starlets have appeared in over 800 adult films and always delivered tremendous performances. During the mid to late 90's, the inclusion of any one of these fan favorites guaranteed sales at the local video stores.

While Kirsty and Vanessa didn't get a lot of box covers or top billings, they were performers that made me take a little harder look at a movie I was thinking of buying. Neither was a raving beauty, but they exuded a raw sex appeal that few of the recent crop of starlets can match. Kirsty was a better actress, Vanessa had a better figure, both performed with shameless, wanton abandon. It was a treat to watch Vanessa. She was soft spoken and shy but would go into a glassy-eyed sexual trance when the action got hot and I doubt if she remembered half of what happened when it was over.

Melissa Hill worked for all the major production companies, proving her acting skills over and over again. She would usually play the mousy, shy friend who had to be coaxed into having sex and then turned into a sexual dynamo. She was at her best when working with a forceful partner, like getting fucked doggy with her hair being pulled.

Shelby Stevens, in my humble opinion, is the sexiest woman ever born. If her name was on the box cover, I was getting it. All her boy/girl scenes were done with Ian Daniels, except one. In Monkey Wench, she works with Vince Vouyer, does a girl/girl with Serenity and a solo masturbation scene. When I met her at the AVN show last year, I told her that this was my favorite movie of her's and she said that it was never supposed to be released and that she didn't get any pay for it. While her b/g scenes were limited, the same wasn't true with her g/g work. She performed a lot of girl only stuff, but even those brought out her incredible drive and desire. Some of her sexiest work may have been her bondage films. Shelby was a BDSM queen who could take it as well as dish it out. If you like beautiful girls in bondage and being abused, it doesn't get any better. While she's retired from performing, she hasn't left the industry and is a much sought after make-up artist. Any list of beautiful and sexy porn starlets has to start with Shelby Stevens.

The movie itself is Ok, with good camera work and very interesting interviews. But I wonder if Steven Michaels ever suspected that these girls would go on to make their mark on the jizz bizz and set standards that few, very few, have been able to equal. Four diamonds in the rough that turned into some of the brightest jewels ever seen in porn.
