| Scene 3 - other=voyeurism Scene 5 - other=voyeurism Angel(Tera Patrick) works for a phone sex company and supports her dead beat boyfriend(Randy Spears). She wants more from life and decides that the only way to get it is to really do the things that her phone customers fantasize about. She takes her co-worker, Mary Jane(Melody Love), to a customer's office and watches as he fucks her, for $5,000. She hides her new found wealth from her loser boyfriend and the next night meets with another client(Nacho Vidal) for a little one-on-one. Nacho treats her like a common whore as he spits on her, slaps her and pounds her unmercifully. Her sideline enterprise is now in full swing and she's become a procurer for rich men. The next day she takes April to meet another client, Mr. Steve(Backey Jacik), and watches as they have sex. Angel finely leaves Randy and begins her new improved life. A simple story line combined with good directing go along way in this movie. There are some flaws in this production, audio noise, extraneous off camera noises, thin dialogue, monotonous music and someone pretending to be a telephone, but they fail to detract from the well shot and edited sex scenes. The excellent lighting gives the viewer the sense of being a voyeur in a corner of the room. Nic Cramer does a solid job capturing the feel of a prostitute with a client. Tera Patrick delivers an outstanding performance with Randy, but her scene with Nacho comes close to melting the DVD. Backey Jacik and April also deliver an explosive romp despite the heavy editing and shortness of the scene. The DVD extras are pretty common. There's a gallery with 40 pictures (no slide show), the bios consist of short PR blurbs for Tera and Melody Love, trailers for 28 Pleasure flicks, phone sex ads and Pleasure's web site address. As I said before, the audio wasn't clean and there were some glitches in the final editing. I like the fact that Cramer kept the story line short, to the point and never loses the audience. The performers are limited in their dialogue and acting requirements. The sex scenes were good, but they could have been a bit longer and less edited. Just oral and straight sex made more intense by the story set-up. Still, all five scenes are good and this movie should appeal to the "couples" market as well as the singles crowd. PT says 4, Tera and April deliver the heat. |
