| Celebrity sluts…or maybe just well-known porn stars. In any case, Jewel has assembled a pretty impressive cast for this, her second video for Jill Kelly Productions. The set -up is simple, Jewel has a very short talk with each "celebrity" and then the scene. Well hell, this ain't rocket science. While this is an all star cast video, the technical short comings detract from the action. The music's dull and repetitious, the audio is hollow, the lighting is harsh, the camera work's less than inspired and the editing's average. This has all the earmarks of a video that was thrown together so Jill Kelly Productions could have more inventory. After the first scene with Mark and Chloe, the viewer is left waiting for the next explosion. It never comes. The chemistry that was evident with Mark and Chloe is blatantly absent in the rest of the scenes. Maybe there were too many stars involved, I don't know. I know that the behind the scenes footage at the end showed a few egos. By this time, everyone knows that Jewel has left Jill Kelly Productions because of artistic differences (she thought JKP's movies were too tame). I think she may be right. JKP is focusing on quantity and not making waves. Well, this video won't make any waves. While it's not a bad video, it's just extremely average. Being their first year in the business, JKP is still trying to find their niche, their image. Taking proven porn stars and turning them into rookie directors is something they might want to take a hard look at. To this point it has only served to devalue the status of their contract girls. Unfortunately, most first timer flicks deliver more heat than you get here. If you like plain vanilla, this is your kind of flick. If you want sprinkles and nuts, maybe a little toffee..you gotta find a different ice cream shop. PT says 3, Jewel in two veggie scenes doesn't cut it. |
