| I got excited when this one showed up for one reason...Cherokee was on the cover. With a title like Azz Fest it's not hard to figure out what this flick is about and these girls definitely have some meaty tushes. There's a good mix of action and each scene is unique. The common factor, other than butts, is high energy and intensity. The main detraction from the action is the jerky camera work and excessive close-up footage. At times it seemed that the camera was in the way of the performers. The editing was also choppy. The production was adequate, but nothing to write home about. Of course the costumes did the most to show off this wonderful parade of derrieres and that's just fine with me. The dialogue was a bit contrived in parts but it was pretty good. Van Styles is one of those directors that thinks the closer he can zoom in on the action the better it is. I think it's just a case of getting close enough to see nothing. Fiona, Belladonna and Olivia have more tattoos than a prison block at Folsom but they all turn in very good performances despite having to dodge Van's camera. By the way, Fiona looks great without the braces. Austin also turned in a great three-way with Brian Surewood and Talon. While Cherokee was the only girl not to do an anal scene (other than fingering her own butt for a moment), she and Mr. Marcus turned in the hottest scene in the film. It was obvious that they were having fun and enjoying the sex. Cherokee has a mix of innocence and unquenchable lust that make her an undeniable presence on the screen. She gives off an air of raw sensuality that reminds me of Nikki Dial or Raquel Darrian. Dvd extras include chapter stars, a gallery with fourteen pics, eighteen minutes of behind-the-scenes footage, stat sheets for all the girls, phone sex ads, trailers for four Video Team movies and web addresses. This movie delivers what it promises, great asses, but it could have been filmed a lot better. Even so, there is more than enough stroke material to make it worth taking a look at and Cherokee's scene alone will make it a must see for her growing number of fans. Van Styles needs to find a way to make his product distinguishable from all the other gonzo makers out there. His casting is good and that puts him ahead of the pack, but the camera work is very weak. PT says 3, Cherokee has the finest butt in the jizz biz! |
