This is the second film I've seen from Lexington Steele's Mercenary Pictures and it's left me anxious to see what's next. Lex has brought us nine gorgeous girls serviced by four of the best studs in the business. Each scene starts off with the girls doing a photo shoot and ends with them in a sweaty, thoroughly fucked heap.

Everything about this film is first rate and shows Lex's attention to detail. The camera work, production and editing are second to none. His use of music during the photo shoots, with it slowly fading out as the action heats up, is perfect. The costumes are devastatingly sexy superwhore attire. The set looked very familiar, but it was a big plus to the scenes. From start to finish, each scene holds its own and yet still retains a uniqueness that increases the appeal of the flick.

All the girls were hot and all the scenes had serious stroke potential, but Cameron Cain and Erik Everhard turned in what I thought was the best performance. Cameron doesn't do a lot of films, but she adds an enormous amount of sexual heat to the ones that she's in. Her natural beauty and smoldering sensuality make her a name to look for when perusing the titles at the local video store. Her pairing with superstud Erik Everhard creates an unbelievable amount of chemistry and a scene that should not be missed by true fans of hardcore porn.

The DVD extras are a bit thin. There's about twelve minutes of behind-the-scenes footage that is nothing more than Lex doing the stills for Cameron, Taylor and Julie set to music...no dialogue. The Boner footage is more of Michael's scene with Vicky Vette and Rose. There are also trailers for twenty-five Red Light titles, a thirty-one picture slide show and instructions on how to web-enable the DVD. The extras may have been weak, but I didn't feel shortchanged because the movie was so good. I don't really care about the DVD extras that much.

Red Light District made a brilliant move by adding Mercenary Pictures to their line and an even better one by not forcing them to look like a Vince Vouyer clone. This is a must see movie that will have you scratching your head about which scene to watch first and which to watch last. It just got added to my list of the Best of 2003.

PT says 5, high energy fucking from start to finish. It may take you 5 or 6 tries to get through the whole film.
