Review:

A sexy and ambitious jazz singer, Angela (Monica Mayhem) is trying to do whatever it takes to land a contract with a big recording company. She has a decent voice, but Angela knows it may take more than her singing talent to get noticed. So, she'll use her sexuality to her advantage to woo a recording executive, Jack Rydell (Cheyne Collins) to sign her. As you can probably surmise, her performance both on and off the stage will win over the heart of Collins. The story is utterly weak, but the sex is enjoyable. As you'll see, I have some mixed feelings about this feature.

One plus for this movie is that Nicholas Steele doesn't exhaust too much time working a plot. That's good, because I'm not sure he could go any further with it. Everything flows nicely between the story and the sex. Another bonus was the female talent. Jesse V., who plays Collins' girlfriend, Layla Jade and Felix Vicious are pleasing to watch. Sophie Evans and Monica steal the show, though, with their sexual performances. Remembering past movies I have watched from Steele, the sex sometimes feels too scripted and dry. That is not the case in this one.

The overall production is outstanding, which is no surprise from Ultimate Pictures. Steele captures some great shots, and uses a number of interesting angles to catch the action. My main beef with the direction is the editing. There are many instances where video and sound looping occurs. I'm not sure why Steele did this because I would have to think he captured enough footage to avoid that. The scenes were not too short, nor too long, but the editing could've been better. The music is great for a porn movie, especially the song of the movie Mayhem sings, Spirit. Mayhem really did sing the song, and she does a better job than most of the pop singers of today. I just wish they had another song in the movie. It becomes quite annoying to hear the same song over and over. How will she ever make it big when she only has one song in her repertoire? Still, I have to give them credit for creating a tolerable song.

I also have to give credit to the wardrobe department. The ladies look absolutely awesome in their getups. Jessie V. is pleasing to the eye with her business outfit. But the one image everyone will remember is Mayhem's stage costume. She does look great in white.

The story and script are terribly dull, and the editing is sloppy. But the sex almost makes up for those weaknesses. Besides, I think every male will be jealous of Collins. Not only does he get to service Jesse, but then Mayhem shows her gratitude by boffing him on a rooftop!

Trapper gives this a 3. I wonder if Mayhem does wedding receptions?
