Review: |
| Nikki Tyler's a sex therapist who's helping a
group of three girls, Ariel Daye, Sarah Jane Hamilton and Tabitha, discover ways to heat
up their sex lives. She starts by telling them about one of the role playing sessions she
had with her husband where she plays a call girl. Nikki then proceeds to set up sex games
for each of the three girls. Ariel has a romp with her husband that includes ice cubes, a
feather, a dildo and anal sex. Tabitha is blindfolded and shared by her husband and his
friend in a double penetration scene. Sarah Jane is used by hubby Jon Dough and Nikki in a
leather and latex submission fantasy. It turns out, that everything up to this point has
just been Nikki sharing her experiences with three of her clients, Marc Wallice(wasn't he
Nikki's husband in the first scene?), Patricia Kennedy and Nicole London. Now comes the
final scene where her three patients lose their inhibitions in Nikki's office, with Nikki
as a very interested observer. I picked up this movie with high hopes because I am a Nikki Tyler fan. Unfortunately, it's a Wave/Vivid film. Plaything 2 is basically an R-rated film with some actual penetration shots thrown in, this makes for very choppy audio and video. While the actors turned in very fine performances, the editing, directing, writing, and music manage to kill most of the eroticism. The dialogue is only saved by the fact that there is very little of it, but even that was too much. The music for this video was very poor and the mixing was atrocious. The costumes were nice. The movie only ran for 1:05 with each of the scenes taking roughly ten minutes. While this may be a "couples movie", it still looked like kindergarten porn to me. Of course, that is mostly what Wave/Vivid puts out, porn for beginners. PT says 2, sorry Nikki. |
