| Scene 2 - other=striptease This is a movie that I've been looking forward to seeing. After all the New Machine releases that are other peoples' work put on DVD by them, I was anxious to see what they could produce for themselves. There's no plot, just Nikita Denise doing a striptease, Nikita doing herself and Nikita doing Nikko Night. In the strip and masturbation scenes there are three camera angles for you to choose from. For the sex scene you can pick from five including one that Nikko operates himself. The screen is broken up into three or five sections (depending on the scene) and you can pick which angle you want to be the main view. This DVD doesn't have much to it in the form of content and even less with production and direction. The scenes are blindingly overlit and very stark. Nikita only uses one outfit and the sex is mediocre at best. I don't blame the performers for their lack of enthusiasm, how creative can you be when you're operating a camera at the same time. The video quality is poor with lots of pixilation showing up when the cameras change focus length. The music is Ok but nothing exceptional, a little techno-pop. The DVD extras include chapter starts, multi-angles, a gallery slide show and an interview with Nikita (the highlight of the DVD). Like most Nikita fans, I'd probably pick up this DVD because she's in it, watch it once and never look at it again. It's just too thin in content, directing and production. The biggest problem is the distraction of the poor video quality. Almost as bad is having Nikko operate a camera during the scene and showing it. The split screen is also a distraction. I came close to giving this flick a one, but I did get to see Nikita try to touch her nose with her tongue. PT says 2, I wonder why nobody took credit for directing or production? |
