Review:
Beth(Kylie Ireland) has told her boyfriend that she doesn't want to get married. He leaves and is killed in a car wreck. The grieving Beth is consoled by her sisters, Camille(T.J. Hart) and Jane(Bridgette Kerkove), and stepmom(Asia Carrera). Beth works through all her guilt, finally comes to grips with her loss and is able to move on.

While it's a fairly simple storyline, it's all the sub-plots that make this an interesting film. Camille discovers that her husband isn't cheating on her and that she was the cause of his strange behavior through her baseless fears. Jane explores her suppressed lesbianism and finds that she is bi-sexual. Stepmom Asia is able to truly become a part of the family and is accepted by all the girls.

This is one of Bud Lee's better efforts, but it still doesn't raise the mercury above room temperature. The editing and sappiness of the dialogue managed to overshadow the performances of an all-star cast. I think the cable version played better than the hardcore.

Lee's obsession with genital close ups gets to be annoying real quick, especially with the editing job. The music is tolerable but sounds like it belongs in a daytime soap. The opening and closing narrations left me with the feeling that Lee wasn't sure if the viewer understood what was happening. The blatant audio dubbing in the final scene was very irritating.

The cast turned in some great performances and overcame most of the problems with the directing and editing. Kylie Ireland was sensational, as were T.J. Hart, Asia Carrera and Bridgette Kerkove. Kylie's scene with Ian Daniels and Bridgette's tryst with Renee LaRue were the highlights of the video, not only because of the intense sex but because they were the best edited scenes. They showed a good mix of close up and full scene shots.

This is obviously a couples' film, but I wonder if Lee really knows what appeals to couples or women. In my observations, women like their porn as nasty as the men do, maybe more. This is a good warm up flick, you've got to do your stretching exercises before a hard workout. I never did understand what the title had to do with anything.
