Review:

Adrian Scott(Joey Ray) is an ex-con trying to go straight, but he gets talked into doing one more job with his buddy Jerry(Damien Michaels). Tanya Grant(Ava Vincent) is planning the same caper with her accomplice Holly(Charlene Aspen). The big job that both teams are trying to pull off is the theft of a priceless gem from the museum where Holly works as an assistant and Adrian has gotten a job as a janitor.

While the gem everyone is trying to pilfer may be perfectly flawless, this film is anything but. The storyline may have been a good idea to start with, but it got all jumbled up in the directing and editing. There are too many unexplained events, like; what does Adrian do with the access card he took, why is he following Holly, what happened to the disk that Holly gave Tanya, why did the diner have the "closed" sign up and the doors wide open, what happened to Tanya and Adrian's clothes in the museum, and there's more. The plot went back and forth and seemed to be written around the sex scenes instead of the sex being worked into the storyline.

Maybe this stuff played better in the cable version, but it made the x-rated take very ponderous and confusing. It would be hard to watch this video without using the fast forward through most of it. The production, music and costumes were very good, but the poor editing, directing and writing overshadowed them. Along with all the inherent problems of being a cable/hardcore movie, this flick has the additional burden of sex scenes that are watered down by the overuse of slow-motion and over-editing. I've seen Ava Vincent in action and this wasn't it. The sex scenes were over-directed and choreographed to the point of losing almost all of their heat.

I may not be the right person to be reviewing "couples movies", but the defects here stand out too much. There was enough budgeted for the production, but not enough of it went into the writing and research. This is a very glossy movie without substance, continuity, variety or imagination. Couples may enjoy this video, but the serious stroker will be disappointed.

PT says 3, and how do you appraise a jewel in the dark?
