Review: |
| Well, David Luger moved on
and Corey Jordan has taken over the Filthy First Timers series. Luger had
definitely planted his mark on this series, but I think Jordan will do
a more than able job of continuing it and making it better. This first
outing for Jordan is good but not yet what he's capable of. There is still
room for growth here and I think Jordan may be just taking his time working
into the format.
I still have the main complaint that I've always had with these videos, the audio levels are so poor during the interview portions that you either can't hear the girls or Jordan's voice is too loud. The camera work was excellent in some places, but I think Jordan missed a great opportunity when Kendall Starr was doing her first anal and he didn't catch her initial reaction to the penetration. While these girls were all obviously true amateurs to the camera, I thought Aurora Snow and Kimi Lixx turned in some inspired performances and could definitely have a future in the business. The other three girls were Ok, but nothing to write home about either for looks or attitude, but mostly because they appeared to be more interested in the camera than what they were doing. This may be where Jordan needs the most improvement, the ability to make the girls more comfortable and less aware of the camera. Luger was a pro at this, but he'd been doing it for a while. I tried not to compare this with earlier episodes, but it's hard not to do. As I said, two of the five scenes were really hot, the camera and editing work were good, but the casting and directing were a little weak. I don't think it's fair to change directors in the middle of a series, because someone isn't going to match up to the other. They should have changed the name to avoid this problem. As far as I'm concerned, this is a brand new series and I'll wait to see where Jordan takes it. I think this was a good first outing and look forward to the next FFT video. PT says 3, more Aurora and
Kimi. |
