Review:

Pat (Iesha) is forced by her parents (Lauren Hall and Jamie Gillis) to attend the Attitude Adjustment Center because they are worried their daughter could end up in jail someday if she doesn't change her bratty ways. They're putting all their trust in Dr. Deeeeep (Joey Silvera) and his Center, but they may regret it in the end. Pat feels dizzy during her first therapy session and has to take her pills. Dr. Deeeeep decides to try hypnotherapy instead of the pills. Once Pat is hypnotized, Dr. Deeeeep is easily bribed by the sinister Bobby Littlesquirt (Marc Wallice) with a little cash to take over the therapy. Once under Littlesquirt's direction, Pat gives in to his every command during her treatment. Throughout the movie, all Littlesquirt has to say is "garshbarthold" and Pat is under his sexual direction. Who's gonna save Pat from this maniacal deception, and locate her pills to bring her out of her spell?

Well, I'm not going to give away the ending, although you may be hoping it ends sooner rather than later.

What's great about this movie is that you'll be on a trip down Amnesia Lane. 80's and 90's adult film stars are prevalent in Bad. Madison, before the implants, the enticing Lauren Hall, and the super-sex-charged Ashlyn Gere lead the cast. Plus, you'll see Randy Spears, T. T. Boy, Peter North, Tom Byron and Marc Wallice during their early years. The acting is still better back then than today but I'm not sure if that's a good thing. However, Silvera's performance of the eccentric doctor was at times amusing, as was Wallice playing a deceiving, little prick.

Whatever Iesha lacked in the acting department, she made up in her sexual liaisons; and her scene with Wallice and Gere was by far the best. If I ever have to go to therapy, I'd have no problem attending if Ms. Gere was the group leader. I sometimes forget how gorgeous Gere really was, and is. Unfortunately, Michelle Monroe was teamed-up with Silvera, but she still carried her part nicely, albeit way too short (more on that later). The one part I particularly enjoyed was once Hall and Gillis saw their daughter off, they ran into the house. Ah, but there's a twist. Gillis won't be the one doing his wife. Instead she has two hoodlums (Spears and T. T. Boy) waiting inside to have their way with her. Gillis is tied up, and forced to watch his good wife get double-teamed. The action was interspersed during the duration of the movie, which was good for Hall fans.

I have to tell you that I was eager to watch a classic early 90's, John Leslie flick. There's something about the classics that gets me fired up. The lack of silicon, the bad studio music, high school-like sets, feathered hair, and the sight of actual pubic hair, made me a bit sentimental for the old days. The styling of the makeup and the dresses will make some of us feel old as well. While Bad offers all of the above, including a decent try at comedy, it left me highly disappointed. I felt Leslie concentrated too much on the story than the sex. That was unfortunate because some of the ladies could've forced the temperature to rise, if only given the chance. The sex scenes could've lasted longer. At least more than two sexual positions are all I ask! Madison and Peter North had the potential to produce a highly energized scene, but it was just long enough for you to remove your pants! Before you know it, North is unloading on Madison's ass after 5 to 7 minutes.

Yes, Leslie's direction was sound, and he set up some great shots along with smooth editing. Each scene had great expectations, but they weren't allowed to develop. Most of the time they weren't ready for the cum shot. I can't believe I'm complaining this much because I usually like Leslie's movies, he directed some of my early favorites. I'm not saying this movie was a waste. He obviously was directing a tame couples movie, but a little more action wouldn't have hurt.

Trapper reluctantly gives this a 3. If you're looking for an arousing classic, this is not the one for you. Hall and Gere saved this from being a 2.
