I have to admit that when I saw Mason was making a second installment to Dirty Trixxx, I was anxious and apprehensive. I've really enjoyed her work so far, but could she improve on the original? So let's see how the scenes go.

In the opener, Mason and Fiona kidnap sorority sweetie Cassie. They take her to a house where Fiona and Craig Moore use and abuse the cutie. Next up, Ashley Moore the streetwalker who does Jay Ashley for $20. I wonder if she knew that Jay was going to use a barstool leg on her. In scene three, Mason has a package delivered to a plane hangar. Julie Knight is in the box and the maintenance personnel, Steve Holmes and Manuel Ferrara, work her over mercilessly before boxing her back up to ship her off to Mason's dad. Now we come to the Cock Princess, Bella Maria. She's very full of herself and then she's very full of Mark Davis. The last scene has Alexandra Quinn practicing self-asphyxiation while watching her scene from another Mason movie. Manuel Ferrara comes along and shows her what choking is really about.

The DVD extras include chapter starts, optional audio commentary by Mason which is good stuff, thirty-seven minutes of behind-the-scenes footage, bonus footage of Alexandra and Manuel getting a head start on their scene while driving to the shoot, a bonus scene from Lady Fellatio 2 and trailers for five Elegant Angel movies. The audio commentary, extra footage and behind-the-scenes stuff was really good and makes for very interesting viewing.

Was the directing and production as good as the first Dirty Trixxx...yes. Was the cast as good...yes and no. The guys were a big improvement but the girls, with some notable exceptions, weren't. Alexandra was explosive in her scene and it's easy to see that she's very comfortable with role-playing. Fiona and Julie also turned in great performances. Cassie was very cute and made the perfect sorority/cheerleader, but she lost her role in the scene. Ashley Moore had high energy but sparks just didn't ignite in her romp with Jay. Bella Maria should never have been allowed to speak, actually she just doesn't fit in. Even Mark Davis couldn't get her to show some enthusiasm. I'm not usually so critical of a cast, but with the type of projects Mason does it's critical to the outcome.

I may get too critical of Mason's movies, but her method of film making lends itself to more analysis. She does more than put a couple on a couch or bed and run the camera with 90% of the film being used for close-ups. She also doesn't re-hash mainstream movies using every thin plot line to insert a sex scene. She creates dark sexual scenarios, that most adult directors won't touch, and presents them with a refreshing honesty that allows the viewer to derive a guilty pleasure from watching. Even the girls love her films, at least all the ones that I've talked to. Basic sexuality stripped of all the civilized pretenses and games is what you get from Dirty Trixxx 2. As good as the first one...maybe not, but it's still great stuff.
