Review: |
| Mark Wood is one of the most prolific performers and directors in the adult business and I must admit that he's also a pretty nice guy. While I'm a fan of Mark's work in front of and behind the camera, this is one concept where I think he missed the target. The idea is to do ten scenes with ten girls that last ten minutes. Because Mark's flicks are basically low budget productions, he has to rely on the sexual heat and variety to carry them and that's a good thing. With this type of film he gets neither. The scenes are so short that you don't get any feel for the girls' personalities and they all look alike. As with most of his movies, Mark is the main male performer (seven of the ten scenes) with Guy DiSilva and some guy named Louis filling in. The girls are pretty forgettable, with a couple of exceptions, but using the fast forward doesn't help because all the scenes are the same after the editing. Technically, this is a decent film with good camera work and a straight forward presentation. It might have been more enjoyable with a better cast of girls, but I don't think so. The scenes are just too short. With all the lines that Mark has going, I'd like to see him drop this one and concentrate on the others. I'd also like to see him do some better casting, but his budgets may prohibit that. Like I said, I'm a big fan and think he does a great job with his movies, but this one just left me frustrated. I think ten scenes is too many for anything other than a three hour comp tape and ten minute scenes leave too much on the editing room floor. But that's just my opinion. PT says 3, for what it is, it's as good as any. |
