About a month ago, I was putting together the "Personal Appearance" section of the site when I saw that Jewel DeNyle was going to be at the Platinum Club in Dallas.  Since that's only 200 miles up the road, I sent Jewel an email asking if I could come by and do an interview with her.  She wrote me back and said that she'd love to and for me to bring a camera.

So I packed my tape recorder and camera in the car and headed off to Dallas. The people at the Platinum Club were great, and kept me in coffee while I was waiting for Jewel to start her last show. When Jewel got on stage, I got up front and was trying to get some pictures but I couldn't get the camera to focus (Now the camera was QB's and he'd given me a two minute class on how to use it.).  I gave up on the pictures and figured I'd wait and get some of Jewel during our talk.

Jewel finished her show and headed to the dressing room and about five minutes later Michael Stefano (her husband and a star in his own right) came out and got me to come backstage.  When we got to the dressing room another guy was leaving and Jewel told me he was her slave.  The three of us sat and talked for a few minutes about Extreme, Jewel's contract with Puritan and Michael's work at West Coast before Michael left so Jewel and I could get on with the interview.  I got the tape recorder out and started asking questions.  About three minutes later I looked down and the recorder wasn't working, I'd forgotten to get new batteries for it.  In case you haven't figured it out by now, I'm one of the most "mechanically declined" people you'll ever meet.   Anyway, we decided I'd email her a set of questions and went ahead and took some pics before she had to go out and meet her fans and I had to head home.

 

PT:   Where are you from and how did you get into the business?
Jewel:   I'm from Colorado and I moved to California when I was 20 years old and was a dancer and Selena Steele discovered me dancing and hooked me up with the porn world.

PT:  How long have you been in the business and how many movies have you been in?
Jewel:   I've been doing movies for 4 and 1/2 years now and have been in almost 300 movies.

PT:  Who are some of your favorite performers to work with?
Jewel:   My favorite performers are Michael Stefano, Rocco and Lexington Steele.

PT:  Do you prefer working with or without condoms?
Jewel:   I try to never use condoms I think it gives out the wrong message, if you're having oral sex then why the fuck are you wearing a condom, what's the point? We all have tests so fuck it. I've had to work with them before for "condom only" companies but it sucked!

PT:  Do you think enough is done in the industry to prevent the spread of STDs?
Jewel:   I think AIM, which is run by the former superstar of porn Sharon Mitchell, is doing its best to control the outbreaks and as far as I can tell they've done a wonderful job.

PT:   Other than yourself, who’s your favorite director to work with?
Jewel:   My favorite directors are Michael Stefano and Sky Blue they are both performers so they know what's up and don't ask me to do something they couldn't do themselves.

PT:   What do you think is your best asset?
Jewel:   My best asset is my Ass.  I've been told I'm the next Nina Hartley, which is a really nice compliment.

PT:   What do you think attracts the fans to you?
Jewel:   I think my fans like me because I'm real and I don't fake anything.  If you want it straight and no bullshit just ask me and I'll tell you and I answer all my own email not some fucking assistant.

PT:   What part of being in the adult entertainment business do you like the most?
Jewel:   I like being a director more than anything because I don't have some fat fuck that's sitting behind a camera who's never been on film before telling me how to fuck (like I need any help).  So when I direct it's my way, NASTY, just the way it should be!

PT:   What do you do in your off time (hobbies or interests)?
Jewel:   I wish I had off time but to be honest I live this business and work myself harder than anyone else could work me so in my off time I sleep!

PT:   What are your plans after you stop performing?
Jewel:   After I stop performing I'll move to Europe and just direct over there because the talent is so much better, they don't bitch and they are happy to work.

PT:  Do you watch porn? Do you watch your movies?
Jewel:   The only porn I watch is my own and Michael's stuff and that's all I can handle.   We do three titles a month between the both of us.

PT:   What is your favorite part of having sex in front of a camera?
Jewel:   I love to shock people when I perform and do things I know these primadonna american broads would never do.  What they won't do, I do for fun!

PT:   What do you like the least about having sex in front of a camera?
Jewel:   I hate having sex with these chicks who are "gay for pay".  If she doesn't want a chick to fuck her, then don't do girl/girl.  I hate those bitches!

PT:   What is the wildest thing you’ve done in a movie?
Jewel:   The wildest thing I've ever done in a movie is with Rocco, I ate shit out of his asshole! Any more questions?

PT:   What’s the wildest thing you’ve done in your personal life?
Jewel:   In my personal life, I drink piss and I love it!

PT:   What do you think would be a good question for an interview and answer it?
Jewel:   Are you out of your mind? Why, yes, I am and I guarantee you'll never see another american chick perform like me.  I compare myself to Rocco, but a female version.

PT:   What question are you tired of being asked?
Jewel:   How can I get into porn? Don't fucking ask me this shit if your a guy!  But if your a girl, and hot, I'll help you.  The guys can figure it out for themselves.   There's no free ride for them, they must pay their dues before fucking me!

PT:   Where do you see yourself 20 years from know?
Jewel:   I will be a legend to this business and will have been one of the first women to build an Empire of Porn and will have many starry-eyed girls looking up at me wanting to follow my footsteps.

PT:   Would you have sex with a critic in order to receive a good review?
Jewel:   I did have sex with a critic and it's for Hustler Magazine and it will be published in Nov.  He did a story on me and I fucked him for the story, so it was the first time a publisher was hands on with the story he was writing!
